Watfa Theresa Alawi

Watfa Theresa Alawi, 75 wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2025, in Fort Worth, TX.

Watfa was born to Moussa Elias and Nadia Namour on September 5, 1950, in Bena, Israel. She married George Tawfiq Alawi on December 18, 1977, in Jerusalem, Israel. She enjoyed cleaning, cooking and organizing her home for her family, her family would come home, and their house would be redesigned with a new look because she loved interior design. She enjoyed watching soap operas and crocheting. Watfa had a caring heart, worried about others and always helped everyone she knew and even those she didn’t know she cared for and helped.

Preceded in death by her parents, Moussa Elias and Nadia. May God rest their souls. Memory Eternal.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, George Tawfiq Alawi of Fort Worth; daughter, Nadia Alawi-Kakomanolis and husband Nikolaos of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Dimitrios Kakomanolis, Daphne and George; brother, Elias Elias of Carmiel, Israel; and extended family and friends.
