Vernon Ray Hanes

  Vernon Ray Hanes, 53, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend was called to be with the Lord on March 10, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.

   Vernon was born to Craig Lee Hanes Sr. and Sharon Ann Stewart on October 1, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas. He grew up around Ft Worth, TX. On September 21, 2001 he married the love of his life Bonnie Hanes and together they began their journey of life.  He was a true family man.  Vernon poured all his time and love into his family.  Always trying to do the right thing for everyone. Vernon love to live life to the fullest.  In his spare time, he had his wild side of dancing just out of the blue to be the life of the party. He loved many different sports, which included softball, baseball, watching his Dallas Cowboys and most of all his Golf. If he wasn’t golfing with his buddies he would be golfing with his wife any chance he got to.

  He will forever be missed and cherished in our hearts. 

  Vernon is preceded in death by both his parents Craig Lee Hanes and Sharon Ann Stewart.

   Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife of over 20 years Bonnie Hanes; his children Blaine Hanes and wife Daniella, Brandon Hanes, Sierra Hanes and Marcus Boyett; his grandchildren Alexa, John, Calysta, Emberlyn, Bradley, and Bryson; his sisters Stephanie Hanes, Misty Pretti and husband Mark Pretti; his brother Craig Hanes and wife Jennifer; his nieces and nephews; Along with many more extended family members and a host of friends.
