Sherra Ann Rankin, 78

March 26, 1943 — July 15, 2021

Sherra Ann Rankin, 78

Sherra Ann Rankin of Decatur and formally of Fort Worth, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.

Sherra was born March 26, 1943 to Clarence Ethell Fuller and Pauline
Galbreth in Fort Worth, Texas. She spent most of her life working at
Farm and Ranch before retiring. One of her favorite things to do was
watch the Texas Rangers Baseball team or Westerns. When you came in
the door you could hear the sounds of Gun Smoke blaring or the sounds
of her cheering her Texas Rangers on. Of coarse you can’t forget her dog
“Jazzy” by her side as well, and she might even ask you to warm up
Jazzy’s food for her so she doesn’t miss any of the game or her westerns.
She was a very caring person who put everyone in her family first even
when it came to her not feeling good you would never know because of
the smile and never complaining. Her family was her everything, her
grandkids and great-grand kids always had her smiling.
She was proceeded in death by her Parents, her son Kevin Paul Rankin,
her brother Jimmy Allan Fuller and her sister Betty Lou Stringer.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son Craig Allan Rankin
of Decatur, Tx; Her granddaughter Megan Rankin and Fiance Eric
Shephard of Decatur, Tx; Her greatgrandkids Legend Shephard and
Khloee Sherphard of Decatur,Tx; Her nephews Mark Fuller and wife
Debbie and Keith Stringer and wife Suzzette; Her nieces Tammy Sutton,
Dede Crockett and husband Terry, Kerri Hill and husband Derek; along
with numerous extended family members and a host of longtime
friends.
