Kevin Obie Obando, 27

   It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kevin Obie Obando on September 18, 2022, in Haltom City, TX.

    Kevin was born on August 26, 1995, to Selvin Obando and Maura Cruz Trochez. Family was everything to Kevin, especially his relationship with his loving son Daniel and beautiful wife Emily. Strong, protective, genuine, sweet, loving and kind. Kevin was the first to volunteer no matter how big or how small the task, always with your best interest in mind. He was the man that would never leave anyone behind. He accepted people for who they were, not a single judgement ever passed. He lived life to the fullest with all he knew, family, friends made no difference they were one in the same to him, they were all people he loved. Never a dull moment, always a HUGE smile. If you were blessed to have Kevin
walk into your life, you are guaranteed to have had your heart and soul touched in a way that only he could. He was by far one of the greatest lights in this world. Taken from us his way too soon, Kevin left his mark touching the lives of many people from all walks of life. He is sorely missed.

   Kevin is joined in death by his brother Keith.

    He is survived by his loving wife Emily Salgado; his son, Daniel Obando; his father Selvin Obando; his
mother Maura Cruz Trochez of Honduras; his siblings, Ana Chan and husband Tim; brothers, Elvin
Obando, Andy Obando and Mario Cruz; his “tribe”; along with numerous extended family and friends.

    Con gran tristeza compartimos el fallecimiento de Kevin Obie Obando el 18 de Septiembre de 2022 en Haltom City, TX.

   Kevin nació el 26 de Agosto de 1995, hijo de Selvin Obando y Maura Cruz Trochez. Su familia lo era todo para él, especialmente su relación con su querido hijo Daniel y su amada esposa Emily. Con una personalidad fuerte, protectora, genuina, dulce, amorosa y amable, él fue siempre el primero en ofrecerse como voluntario sin importar que grande o pequeña fuera la tarea, siempre con su mejor interés en mente. Fue un hombre que nunca dejo a nadie atrás. El aceptó a las personas por lo que eran, sin juzgar a naden. Kevin vivió la vida al máximo disfrutando con todos los que lo conocían, familia y amigos no hacía ninguna diferencia eran iguales para él, eran todas las personas que él amaba. Nunca hubo un momento aburrido junto a él, siempre con una GRAN sonrisa en su rostro. Si tuviste la bendición de que Kevin entrara en tu vida, tienes la garantía de que tu corazón y tu alma han sido tocados de una manera que solo él podría. Fue, una de las luces más grandes de este mundo. Arrebatado de nosotros demasiado pronto, Kevin dejó su marca en la vida de muchas personas en todos los ámbitos de la vida. Se le extraña mucho.

   Kevin ahora descansa junto su hermano Keith.

 Le sobreviven su amada esposa Emily Salgado; su hijo, Daniel Obando; su padre Selvin Obando; su madre Maura Cruz Trochez de Honduras; sus hermanos, Ana Chan y su esposo Tim; hermanos, Elvin Obando, Andy Obando y Mario Cruz; su “tribu”; junto con numerosos familiares y amigos.
