Fort Worth

Juanita Castillo, 51, a loving mother, daughter, aunt, and friend, went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Juanita was born July 18, 1975, in San Antonio, Texas to Luz and Juanita Castillo.

Juanita was a wonderful mother who taught her son some of life’s most valuable lessons. She taught him to be respectful, to care for everyone, and be hard working. Although she could be very strict, it was her way of preparing him for life.

Juanita was an excellent daughter, a loving sister, and the best Tia anyone could ask for. She was brave, kind and incredibly generous. She was always worrying about everyone else, often putting the needs of others before her own. She had a way of making everyone feel cared for and loved. She faced everything with incredible bravery and strength.

She loved spending time with her son, family, and best friend, Rachel.

Juanita enjoyed dining out with her son, they loved going to the movies or spending one on one time at home with their cats and dogs. During her down time, she enjoyed a good book. One of the things that will be missed the most is the scavenger hunts she organized for her nieces and nephews during holidays. We are left with beautiful memories that will be cherished forever, the love for her family was unwavering.

Those left in honor to celebrate her memory are her son, Mark Anthony Castillo, her father Luz Castillo, siblings Rosanna, Eddie, Lucy, Pedro and his wife Maria Castillo, her nieces and nephews, Jovanny Avila, Alyssa, Brianna, and Christian Castillo, Samantha Roman, Liam Castillo, Anabelle Avila, along with numerous extended family members and a host of friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Castillo.
