Gabino R. Hernandez Sr.

Gabino R. Hernandez S. 78, a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend went to his Lord and Savior
on December 2 nd , 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Gabino was born October 24 th , 1942 to Anastasio Hernandez and Feliciana Sanchez in Hidalgo, Mexico.
He was a long-time member of the Primera Baptist Church in Ft. Worth but also know by many
congregations across Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Chicago.
He dedicated his life to serving the Lord by composing, singing, sharing the word, and praying for
everyone that would reach out to him regardless of the time. He enjoyed taking his daily walks to the
shopping centers and pass out Salvation pamphlets. He Loved the Lord and was never ashamed nor saw
boundaries when sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During his journey Gabino sang and played many
instruments but mainly the guitar in all types of events for many different churches. He recorded several
CD’s, acted and directed in many plays and movies. Some of his songs include, No Me Lloren, Aparecera,
Como Cordero Fue, Amigo Cristo, Alerta Pecador, Confia En Dios, Seguir A Cristo, and many more!
Gabino was not just a man of God but a devoted father and granfather! A father that enjoyed spending
time with family, specially through meals and coffee. He will be greatly missed!
Those left to honor and celebrate his memory are his children, Laura Hernandez, Carmen Hernandez,
Rafael Hernandez, Amada Serrano, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. As well as many
brothers & sisters in Mexico, extended family members, a host of friends, and many brothers & sisters in
Christ.

Gabino R. Hernandez S. de 78 años, un padre amoroso, abuelo, hermano y amigo fue a la presencia de
su Señor y Salvador el 2 de Diciembre del 2,020 en Fort Worth, Texas.
Gabino nació el 24 de Octubre de 1,942 a Anastasio Hernández y Feliciana Sánchez en Hidalgo, México.
Fue miembro durante mucho tiempo de la Primera Iglesia Bautista en Ft. Worth, pero también fue
conocido por muchas congregaciones en el estado de Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas y Chicago. El es
Dedicó su vida a servir al Señor componiendo, cantando, compartiendo la palabra y orando por todos
los que se lo pedian sin importar la hora. Le gustaba caminar a diario a los centros comerciales y repartir
folletos de Salvación. Amaba al Señor y nunca se avergonzó ni vio límites al compartir el Evangelio de
Jesucristo. Durante su trayecto Gabino cantó y tocó muchos instrumentos pero principalmente la
guitarra en todo tipo de eventos para muchas iglesias diferentes. Grabó varios CD, actuó y dirigió en
muchas obras de teatro y películas. Algunas de sus canciones incluyen, No Me Lloren, Aparecera, Como
Cordero Fue, Amigo Cristo, Alerta Pecador, Confia En Dios, Seguir A Cristo, y muchas mas!
Gabino no solo era un hombre de Dios, sino un padre y abuelo devoto! Un padre que disfrutaba pasar
tiempo con la familia, especialmente las comidas y su cafésito. Lo vamos a extrañar muchísimo!
Para honrar y celebrar su memoria quedan sus hijos, Laura Hernandez, Carmen Hernandez, Rafael
Hernandez, Amada Serrano, 14 nietos y 7 bisnietos. Además de varios hermanos y hermanas en México,
miembros extendidos de la familia, y una gran cantidad de amigos y hermanos en Cristo.
