Carmen "Tita" Trevizo Serna

Carmen Serna, de 83 años, que era ama de casa y vendedora jubilada, madre y abuela fue a estar con el Señor el domingo 1 de marzo de 2020 en Fort Worth.

Carmen nació el 27 de Junio de 1936 de Raquel Trevizo y Serafina Gutiérrez en Tutuaca Chihuahua, México. Se unió en matrimonio con Juan Serna en 1956 en Chihuahua, México. Era una mujer de gracia y estilo y nunca sin sus accesorios de joyería coloridos conocidos como su "Bling-Bling". Su entretenimiento y el tiempo que pasó con sus hijas fue ir al casino. Era una mujer muy social, Carmen tenia un alma y un corazón hermoso para su familia, ya que era conocida por cuidarlos y amarlos a todos. A Carmen le encantaba viajar a Chihuahua, su hogar natal, para visitar a sus hermanas y su hijo. Ella era una verdadera guerrera que luchaba por lo que quería y defendía lo que creía que era correcto. Carmen era un alma hermosa que disfrutaba escuchando música y bailando al ritmo de todos. Carmen será extrañada por todos los que la amaron.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, su hija María Elena Serna, su hijo Salvador Serna y su hermano Manuel Trevizo.

Los que quedan para apreciar su memoria son sus hijos José Serna y su esposa Judith de Fort Worth, Patricia Serna de Fort Worth, Lourdes Chacon y su esposo Isidro de Fort Worth, Jorge Serna de Fort Worth, Sandy Perez, Ramón y familia de Fort Worth, Isaac Serna de México y Juan M. Serna Jr y esposa Elva de Fort Worth; sus 35 nietos, 35 bisnietos y 1 tataranieto; sus hermanas Ramona Trevizo, Delia Trevizo, Julieta Trevizo, Rosa Segura Trevizo y Matilde Trevizo; junto con numerosos miembros de la familia extensa y una gran cantidad de amigos.

Fort Worth ~Carmen Serna, 83, who was a homemaker and retired saleswoman, mother & grandmother went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 1, 2020 in Fort Worth.

Carmen was born on June 27, 1936 to Raquel Trevizo and Serafina Gutierrez in Tutuaca Chihuahua, Mexico. She was united in marriage to Juan Serna in 1956 in Chihuahua, Mexico.  She was a woman of grace and style and never without her colorful jewelry accessories known as her “Bling-Bling”.  Her entertainment and time spent with her daughter’s was going to the casino’s. She was a social butterfly, with a beautiful soul and heart for her family, as she was known for caring and loving them all. Carmen loved traveling to Chihuahua her native home, to visit her sister’s and son. She was a true warrior who would fight for what she wanted and stood for what she believed was right.  Carmen was a beautiful soul and with that she enjoyed listening to music and dancing to the rhythm of them all. Carmen will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Maria Elena Serna, son Salvador Serna and brother Manuel Trevizo.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children Jose Serna and wife Judith of Fort Worth, Patricia Serna of Fort Worth, Lourdes Chacon and husband Isidro of Fort Worth, Jorge Serna of Fort Worth, Sandy Perez, Ramon and family of Fort Worth, Isaac Serna of Mexico and Juan M. Serna Jr and wife Elva of Fort Worth; her 35 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grand Children and 1 Great-Great Grand Child; her sister’s Ramona Trevizo, Delia Trevizo, Julieta Trevizo, Rosa Segura Trevizo and Matilde Trevizo; along with numerous extend family members and a host of friends.
