Carlos Enrique Ponce

Carlos Enrique Ponce, 35 years old, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, went to be with Our Lord on January 10, 2026.

Carlos, son of Laura Elizabeth Ponce Hernández, was born on June 9, 1990, in Abilene, Texas. A great loving son always taking care of his mother, making sure she was doing well. Carlos was an incredible brother, giving advice and caring for his sisters. Carlos was a humble, simple young man and treated everyone equally without any distinction. He had a heart of gold. In his free time, Carlos enjoyed going fishing and hoping to catch the “Big One”.

Carlos was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrés and Francisca Ponce.

Those who remain to honor and celebrate his memory are his son, Carlos Xavior Ponce; his mother, Laura Elizabeth Ponce Hernández and her husband, Juan Ramírez; his sisters, Annielou Ortiz and her husband, Ruben, Jasmine Ramírez and her husband, Christian Ayala, Yesenia Ponce and her husband, Erick Gutiérrez; brothers, George Ponce and Hector Ponce; his beloved aunt, Dora Ponce; and many family members and friends.
