Anita C. Urias, 93, of Fort Worth, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and strong follower of Christ went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Anita was born to Severo Chavez and Margarita Rodriguez on February 14, 1927 in Sonora, Texas. She was united in marriage on September 5th, 1948 in Sonora, Tx to the love of her life Leova Urias, who went to be with the Lord in 2011 after 63 years of marriage. He was there to greet her and hold her in his arms once again. She was always doing crafts whether it was her famous baby baskets for someone welcoming a new baby, or sewing projects and plenty of photobooks with never ending amounts of pictures. Anita was very close with her Bible which read she would actively read daily. When it came to sports, she was a die-hard Rangers fan and Cowboys fan, anyone who stopped by when the Rangers or Cowboys were playing would get a glimpse of her yelling at the TV and cheering her team along for a win. Above all things her family is what meant most to her and held close dearly.
She was proceeded by her husband Leova Urias, grandson James Allen, and numerous siblings.
Those left behind to cherish her lasting memory are her four daughters Rebecca Fullagar and Husband Mark of Choctaw, OK, Cynthia Medrano and husband Reginaldo of Fort Worth, Loida Kellgren and husband Steve of Baton Rouge, LA, and Wilma Lopez and Husband Ram of Fort Worth; Her grandkids Monique, Todd, Justin, Laura, Sajil, Serena, Alex, Ramiro, and Renea; Her great grandkids Austin, Jacob, Macen, JJ, Alivia, Joshua (Bear), Sara, Mateo, Jaxon and Kaiden; Her great great grandson, Bailey; her sister Olga Gomez of Fresno, CA. Along with many extended family and a host of friends.
