Family was her everything, she always cooked for her family and made sure they always had a home to come to whenever they wanted. When Alice was growing up she was a true country girl between the work in the cotton field, hauling hay and raising pigs. She would enjoy sitting on the front porch watching birds in nature and singing while picking the fiddle any chance she had. The involvement in The Assembly Of God Church and strong faith gave her the ability to sing and pray plenty. God, Family, Singing, Cooking and praying were what made her life full and provided her happiness, which give her family and friends many memories to cherish. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.
