Alejandro Deras Covarrubias

Alex Deras was born on May 24, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on July 6, 2026, in Grapevine, Texas, at the age of 36.

Alex's greatest joy in life was being a father to his beloved three-year-old son, Andrew. He cherished every moment they spent together and loved him with all his heart.

Known for his kind heart and adventurous spirit, Alex was deeply devoted to his family and treasured the time he spent with friends. Whether it was gathering for a family celebration, watching his beloved LA Dodgers , or simply enjoying each other's company, he found happiness in the moments shared with those he cared about most.

Alex moved to Dallas, Texas in 2021 to work as an aircraft mechanic at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for American Airlines. He touched the lives of many of his colleagues who became his second family away from home.

“LA” as many of his family at their Coffee Shop referred to him spent the last few years of his life created lasting memories of a true brotherhood.

Alex will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor, and the genuine love he showed to everyone around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his son, his family, and the many friends whose lives he touched.

He will be deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
